In my work I deal with issues of mental health and the loss of the self which is an essential part of such illnesses and strive to record the regression of the elan vital and essential nature of the affected. Through a technique of in camera double exposure , I blend imagery that encapsulates the notion of loss of identity and the deterioration of the anima. The work is created spontaneously on location with no post production blending of imagery.
